Quarantine at the airport

In the case of export, the animal will undergo export inspection at the quarantine station at the relevant airport and an export certificate will be issued. In order to prepare for this, certain certificates such as a microchip certificate and a rabies certificate are required.

At the airport counter

If you are traveling with a dog on a passenger flight, you will need to make a reservation in advance and check in at the counter. Small dogs can be brought on board in a soft crate, but if you are checking them in as luggage, you will need a hard crate designated by the airline, a water dispenser, etc.

Cargo

When using air cargo, such as when passenger flights are not used or when the destination country prohibits passenger flights, such as the UK, the dogs will be delivered to a designated warehouse at the airport. In addition to quarantine documents, documents for customs are also required.
